Description:  and an unflappible canada goose. This unit started life as CN5137 and still retains a number of identifying marks, from the unique steps to the ditch lights added on in the 70's. Other features such as the nose mounted headlight, bell where the numberboards are and snowshield behind the cab only reinforce the notion.

Description:  the one that got away. before this train arrived view was obscured by Eastbound at last light. I'll go out on a limb and claim that signal bridge was installed about the same time this fill was created C1915 for the National Transcontintal Railway. It's a unique structure which no doubt at one time hosted semaphore signals.
