Album Info:Here are 11 photographs of Pennsylvania Railroad passenger and freight trains rounding the Horseshoe Curve near Altoona, Pennsylvania. All of these photos were taken by Mr. Fred McLeod during the Summer of 1948, and come from a color slide set entitled "Pennsy Steam Locomotives" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (109). I have attempted to spruce-up the colors a bit on these 50-year-old slides, but have not done any cropping work.
