Album Info:
An overcast and cool day had me cleaning up the pigsty of a garage I created. I came into the house to wash my hands and check my email, and I hear the horn of the AMY approaching – I immediately know its not a BNSF leader – sure enough, it’s an NS. But following are four shrinkwrapped loads of unusual shape. From what I can tell, they appear to have European style buffers. I figured “why the hell not?” so I chased it to Normangee, North Zulch and Iola. The shrinkwrap is marked: MRS Car # 14, 15, 16, 17 with Brazil Loram MOW under that. On the bottom is BN175923 ALUS MRS Logística S.A. (Malha Regional Sudeste) translates to "Southeast Regional Network"). MRS is a freight rail company in Brazil that operates 1,021 miles of track. It operates via a concession from the Southeastern Federal Railroad Network (formerly SR3 - Juiz de Fora and SR4 - São Paulo of Rede Ferrovária Federal S/A), in the populous states of Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo.
