Album Info:
Photos reflect the repainting of the Plattsmouth CB&Q display caboose, back in the Spring of 1988. This was part of an Eagle Scout project from a young man in Troop 399. BN Explorer Post 17, sponsored by Gibson Yard, at South Omaha, provided some of the manpower in this endevour. This display caboose was placed earlier, in a small trackside park and is a tribute to the folks that worked at Plattsmouth's BREX shops, which built refrigerator cars and others, for over 100 years there.
