Description:  While 51 and the rest of the train wait for a lineup, the 4449 continues to back further into the yard for servicing. Later in the evening, it will make the move down the Indiana Harbor Belt to reach CP 502 on the NS Chicago Line and proceed to Michigan City.

Title:  Eastbound SP 4449 and the Cross-Country Daylight Train
Description:  Headed across the Wisconsin River Bridge near the confluence with the Mississippi River is the Eastbound SP 4449 Cross-Country Daylight Train in a scene from Wyalusing State Park that somewhat resembles the Pacific Northwest Region that is the engine's home. This is the first time I'd ever seen the Daylight GS-4 4-8-4, and I never imagined I'd be able to see it in the Midwest. Thanks to all the groups who made it happen. It was a fun chase.
