Description:
Here is another example of the five 4-6-2 Pacifics built by Alco-Schenectady in 1927 for the Bangor & Aroostook RR, serial # 67426. The loco served the BAR until being scrapped in December of 1953. Specs on the 5 locos in the class - 69" drivers, 210 psi boiler pressure, 21x28" cylinders, engine weight of 237,000 lb, tractive effort of 31,944 lb. From the collection of Henry O. Preble
