Title:
PRR 1270, A-5S, c. 1946
Description:
Here is a photo by Max Miller that was taken on Long Island, New York, c. 1946. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1270, an A-5S (0-4-0) switcher built in Juniata in December of 1916 and retired in June of 1950 after 34 years of faithful service. Apparently it's assigned to the Long Island Rail Road. Williams Collection.
