Here is an image of an official photo of (L to R) Pennsylvania Railroad engines #3847, #4745, #4837, and #3768. #3847 is a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata in April of 1923, rebuilt by Lima with rotary cam poppet valves in 1939, and retired in November of 1953. #4745 is a P-5A(M) (2-C-2) built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in March of 1935, rated at 3,750 horsepower, and retired in August of 1961. #4837 is a GG-1 (2-C-C-2) built in Juniata in July of 1935 and rated at 4,620 horsepower. And #3768 is a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata in June of 1920, streamlined in 1936, and retired in October of 1953. William E. Burket Collection.

Description:  Digital image from Kim E. Piersol original 35mm Kodachrome transparency. Pair of CR GG1s lead EB on the cutoff to Morrisville and Trenton, NJ over the CR/Amtrak (now Amtrak) main from Harrisburg to Philadelphia at Whitford Station off Spackman Lane. This portion of the cutoff has long since been abandoned and the tracks removed, but the iron truss bridge still stands. Please note my son & Pinto Wagon in the photo!!!
