PRR (PC) #4890 [GG1]
Title:  PRR (PC) #4890 [GG1]
Description:  "Overhead Catenary" Looking down in an unusual view on Pennsylvania GG1 #4890, exiting the Hudson River tubes (right) and entering Penn Station, New York (left). Great vantage point - and it still exists! I was here in 2007 purely by coincidence, after going to B&H Photo. I shot the Penn Station interlocking using a friend's digital camera (I never got the photo). When I came across this shot in dad's slide carousels while organizing them, I knew exactly where it was taken from! Dad and I had a good laugh about it. Now with him gone, I treasure this image..
