Erie S2 523 at 47th Street in Chicago, Illinois on May 9, 1965, photo by Chuck Zeiler. Built in June 1949 (c/n 76779) it retained its Erie road number after the EL merger and was classed MSA-10. It was equipped for MU operation. That's a nice freshly painted N&W boxcar behind, for the record, it's NW 219245.
