The old Berkeley Mills today. Erected by the Lonsdale Company in 1872 as a spinning and weaving mill. The old mill is home to many small companies now. A typical New England mill building built during the textile boom. There's another track along the main that leads to another building that hasn't been used in years. The Providence and Worcester will store equipment on that track. |
