This 36x99 foot structure was built in 1912 by Meyersdale Planing Company at a cost of only $10,000. It was abandoned in the 1970s along with the Western Maryland Railway. In 1995 it was fully restored and now houses the Meyersdale Area Historical Society and a tourist center for the Great Allegheny Passage. |
