| In lead position is MILw GP40 #2043. Built by EMD in 1/1967 originally as MIL 170, it was later renumbered to MILW 2043. After the Milwaukee Road collapsed, it rolled over to the Soo Line as SOO 2043. This photo is from the original negative by rail fan Dick Berry. The negative is part of my collection now. |
