I stopped for awhile in Crawfordsville although I have had dismal luck in catching any traffic passing the old Monon blades - perhaps the last blades on a Class One? I waited awhile, then some more and when the sun was gone behind the storm front clouds I lingered awhile longer. Do you know the routine? I was almost ready to kick the ignition when I heard a horn. Could it be? And then the southbound blade dropped to stop and this ethanol train whistled through town. Blades are cool! |
