| This intermodal came to a halt at about 7 am in the middle of town. It was so long that it blocked all five major crossings in town, causing the police and fire departments concern. It was waitng on the main line for a California Amtrak to take a siding ahead of it. The traffic was backed up for several blocks at each crossing, and had not yet cleared out when the Amtrak came through heading south. |
