Philip Martin General WOW! If you only knew how valuable these pictures are to me! 7/31/2008 7:15:22 PM
Philip Martin General The 612 was sold to the Cass Scenic Railroad in 1972 for proposed use on the Greenbrier Sub of the C&O for excursion service. The locomotive started a minor restoration effort in 1984 when a grant was recieved. The 612 was going to be restored when the Greenbrier Line was washed out by the 85' flood. I have seen very few pictures of this engine, and these certainly are some of the best! Thanks much! Philip Martin - Cass Scenic Railroad State Park 7/31/2008 7:17:30 PM
