| CSX and NS picked up new units from GE in Erie PA, often running them in revenue service til they were delivered to their owners. Here we see a pair of spanking new units headed east on the Chicago Line. Theyll get to UP eventually. I often think some units follow me around. The trailing unit, 6628, is one I would encounter again, but not for another ten years. I caught it in the lead on a coal train in Nebraska in 2011. |
