Aaron Sucharzewski General This is an EMD E7. The main identifying features of an E7 are the Bulldog nose (not sloped like earlier Es) coupled with the three spaced-out grilles on the side. E8s and E9s had one continuous grille running the length of the side. These E7s were retired by the time the Morrison Knudsen-rebuilt E9AMs were placed in service started in 1973. 2/1/2025 9:34:42 AM
