From time to time, NS would send coal to the D&H via Harrisburg. On CP these would be symbolled 8858 north and 8859 south, with varying symbols on NS, though Ive seen 87T and 88T used. Here we see one of the 8859 trains crossing "baby Tunkhannock" more properly known as Martins Creek Viaduct south of Kingsley PA, with a pair of UP leaders. |
