| Through the beautiful and rugged Sierra Nevada mountains, at Alta, Calif. Amtrak #6, the San Francisco Zephyr climbs toward the summit of Donner Pass. Ths trip created a great deal of excitement in as much as this was the first eastbound trip for these new Amtrak SDP40F units. |
