| Although hard to see in the photograph, this locomotive has LED light strips along the frame and around the engineroom doors for TRE's Winter Whistler Express. Due to poor weather conditions however the holiday train was anulled and instead operated as TRE 2973, the 4:50PM train to Fort Worth. As this train started to move a late arriving passenger ran for the train and slipped on ice falling on the station platform. The engineer stopped the train and the passenger dusted himself off, boarded, and the train continued to Fort Worth with battered and bruised passenger. |
