| EMD delivered this GP39-2 to Santa Fe as 3641 in March 1975 until being renumbered in anticipation of the SPSF merger to ATSF 3141 in July 1985 returning to 3641 a year later after the merger was denied. In October 1987 this EMD was released as GP39-2u 3435 wearing this number until the end of Santa Fe becoming BNSF 2839 in August 1999. Note the silver plow which has an EOT resting atop near the step well. |
