By my count there are 9 tunnels over the 55 odd miles of the Old Main Line Sub between Relay and Point of Rocks, Maryland. At just over 1000 feet Dorsey Tunnel is one of the longer ones. These scenes were shot on a cool Friday morning about 11 AM in early Spring after a 3 mile walk through the Patapsco Valley State Park. Q217 has been a regular mid-day visitor to the OML when it isn’t routed via the Captiol and Metropolitan subdivisions through Washington DC. /DL |
