WIL-ALT-65. Here is an original photo that I took while riding in a Pennsylvania Railroad passenger train from Wilmington to North Philadelphia during August of 1965. Shown here is Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines engine #6010, an AS-16 built by the Baldwin Locomotive Company during April of 1953. It is about to arrive at the PRR's 30th Street Station with a two-car passenger train. Visible in the background is a portion of the PRR's "High Line." |
