| Southern Railway GP38-2 5156 and GP38 2796 were on a westbound transfer run across New Orleans to the Kansas City Southern. The train was stopped on the New Orleans Terminal Co. at Canal Boulevard. The No. 20 switches under and next to the train were the East City crossovers, and the signal bridge was the east limit of East City Junction.
