A 1965 built locomotive shoves across the 1953 completed embankment and past the pilings of the original 1870s NY&LB trestle. More recently erosion had occurred underneath the concrete culvert structure. To facilitate work on the structure trees and vegetation were removed from the embankment opening up this temporary vantage. |
