NS elected to take delivery of their new GEs in primer, and paint them in their own shops, rather than wait for GE to do it, thus getting them in service quicker. I cant help think of all those Athearn units I saw in hobby shops, with "undecorated" marked on the box. Sometimes life imitates art. |
