A sextet of Union Pacific power sits parked by Union Station. The short cut of cars with such a long line of motive power seemed strange, as did the fact that they shut down all but one locomotive. Turns out the train had suffered a derailment; the front end of the train had gone on ahead to a spot where it wouldn't be blocking any grade crossings. |
