Here is the second of two original photos by an unidentified photographer of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3108, a G-5S (4-6-0) "Ten-Wheeler" built in Juniata during 1923 and retired in February of 1953. In this photo, it is departing the Passenger Station in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, on 25 January 1953. Partially visible on the right are the steps leading up to the Phoenixville Station. On the left is PRR P-70 passenger coach #3650. Roy Healey Collection; #22 of 40. |
