Aerotrain. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken near Marysville, Pennsylvania, on 13 October 1956. The photographer is not identified. Shown here is the Pennsylvania Railroad's "Aerotrain," built by General Motors during July of 1955. It is on its daily westward journey from New York City to Pittsburgh, having just crossed the Susquehanna River via the Rockville Bridge. |
