| This photo shows the fans, handrails, light, and other details of C&O 3020, a GP30 parked in the former C&O yards in Huntington, WV. Something seldom modeled is the "clean" spots on the dirty, grimy ends from train crew climbing up the grab irons, perhaps to add sand (note the "hatch" or lid for the sand container above the double-lights). Date is approximate but I took this photo the same day as the other photo of 3020. |
