| Built in April of 1942 by EMD, this SW1 switcher was caught by Walter M. Match sitting quietly in the CNJ Elizabethport yard. The 600 hp switcher would survive the merger into Conrail and be renumbered 8407. It would be one of the 145 SW1's that Conrail inherited from various railroads. |
