Photo Caption: "Engineer B.L. Morris leans from cab of twin-unit 4500-horsepower Electro-Motive E-8 No. 5767 to comment on Author Al Rung's maroon polka-dot shirt and white Cruiser cap." Partially visible here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5767, an EP-22 built by GM-EMD in April of 1952 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. |
