Southern Pacific (Texas & New Orleans) Mk-5 class Mikado 777 was parked at the railroad’s ALGIERS SHOPS, across the Mississippi River from New Orleans. It had been built at Alco’s Brooks Works (55963) in August 1916, and it was sold for scrap to Houston Compressed Steel on 8 February 1955. |
