The Canadian Pacific Railway “150 Train” rests at Thunder Bay, Ontario on August 6, 2017. It has three refurbished FP9 and one FP9B locomotives powering the train. They are painted in old Canadian Pacific colors. This special train ran from Vancouver, British Columbia to Montreal, Quebec. They stopped at different cities along the way to host festivals honoring Canada’s “Sesquicentennial.” This is parked after the festivities. They continue east the next day. (Mamiya RB67 Medium Format camera, Fuji Velvia 50 E-6 slide film) I will scan more pix of this train at some future date. Compare this shot at night at the same location: http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=5396059 |
