Here is a one-page article entitled "Rides 20 Hours Continuously in Broadway's Cab" that was first published in "The Pennsylvania News" dated February 15, 1931. Reprinted in Howard G. Hill's 1972 book entitled "Riding The Limiteds' Locomotives," page 119. It proposes that Colonel Hill "has probably won the distinction of being the only man to make the entire, continuous 908-mile trip between Manhattan and the Windy City in an engine cab." |
