| One of the oldest and first set SD70MAC units, BNSF 9406 is still had at work in coal service on the BNSF. Today it trails into the yard on an empty heading back west for more coal. Its days of leading are few and far between now due to not having PTC installed on board, but can still faithfully serve in trail service in the summer of 2023, 29.5 years after it was originally built for the Burlington Northern for this same purpose of pulling coal. |
