Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3858, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during May of 1923 and retired in April of 1958 after 35 years of faithful service. Description:
Here is an image of a photo by Edward Kaspriske that was taken at the Enginehouse in South Amboy, New Jersey, in 1955. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3858, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during May of 1923 and retired in April of 1958. Partially visible at the left is PRR engine #5471, another K-4S that was constructed by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in March of 1927 and retired in August of 1956. Edward Kaspriske Collection.
