Description:
Westbound SP train AVLFM (Avondale-Lafayette) pauses at Schriever with 26 cars. The train's caboose is parked next to the depot, right on the other side of the antenna tower. The Espee only owned 15 B23-7's, so finding one was always nice; and finding one of the front of a train on a sunny day was really special!

Rail Replacement Train
Description:
Wherein I tried to get a little extreme and artsy or something. Standing so close to a locomotive was terrifying and thrilling all at once. This was on a tiny trestle that passed over a concrete ditch that I used to wander around in looking for adventure. Near the Crabapple Road grade crossing, south Shreveport.
