ALCO C636 #636-1 Demonstrator
Description:
This is one of only 3 Century C636 demonstrators built by ALCO in 1969. Unsatisfactory test runs on several railroads led to only 34 being built. The demonstrator was later sold to Morrison-Knudsen. The photo is by Lee Hastman.
